Relax with a good book or a cup of tea in the warming atmosphere of the lounge, complete with log burning stove. A good place to plan your day's itinerary - the Quantocks have numerous beautiful walks, many of which begin at our doorstep. We are at the start of the newly created 36 mile "Coleridge Way." Travel advice & luggage transfer can be arranged.

Local Walks & Advice

We are always happy to advise on walks & supply necessary maps & information. Exmoor is within easy reach for additional walks. Samuel Taylor Coleridge's cottage is in Nether Stowey & there are sights to see further afield - Dunster Castle, Glastonbury & Wells Cathedral, to name a few.

Traditional Dining Room

A traditional or vegetarian English breakfast is served in front of an open fire in the dining room. We specialise in organic, home-grown food; eggs from our hens, homemade breads and jams and pancakes with maple syrup. Delicious evening meals are served by candlelight and available upon request.
